We’ve got 10 places in the Bath Half 2026… Could one be yours?

It’s that time again! We are looking for a team of runners to join forces and take part in this famous race around the beautiful city of Bath, to raise money for our local & independent charity here at Music Workshop.

All fundraising efforts will provide vital funds for our scholarship program, which aims to improve accessibility and tackle barriers to Music in Bath & the South West.

What will you be running for?

Music Workshop Coffeehouse is our home and CiC, whose purpose strengthens our charitable mission.

It is more than just a café, it is a community hub and creative space where people gather to learn, connect and be inspired. 

Whether it be our weekly choir, regular live performances, workshops, or its presence as a safe, inclusive space for study or retreat. The coffeehouse brings our community together.

Crucially, it directs its profits to our charity, helping to fund the lessons, projects and opportunities that help transform lives.

Donations to the CIC will not only sustain this vital hub but also help fund the charitable projects and support structures we’ve built for a range of local people of all ages.

Your generosity helps us reach our sustainability goals, reduce our reliance on debt, and ensure that every pound spent in the coffeehouse goes

even further into our positive causes.

Here are some examples of what your support makes possible through the surplus donated to the charity:

• One-to-one music lessons, including an instrument and performance opportunities, for a young person in vulnerable

• Circumstances.

• Open mic nights, providing safe, encouraging spaces for students and emerging artists to share their voices.

• Jam Lab bands, giving young musicians the chance to collaborate, create and perform together.

• Inclusive programmes, such as our empowerment scholarship, offering free studio time and professional guidance to

• people with additional needs.

Positive community spaces like our coffeehouse are vital to society. They bring people together across generations, empower hidden voices, and provide light or sanctuary where it is most needed.

Music Workshop is driven by collaboration, inclusivity, joy, support and expression. With your support, we can keep the coffeehouse thriving and ensure that everyone has the chance to discover their voice and flourish through the power of music.
